Introducing TieBreak Consulting
TieBreak consulting has been set up to address the rapidly changing dynamics of the sports industry and the important yet often poorly defined relationships between the key stake-holders. Despite significant progress we believe sports coaching, management, and business development is still in its embryonic stages in Australia.

The tennis industry for example in the past 50 years has been the leader in coaching and the education and training of coaches. That whole structure has changed dramatically and our Directors have been intimately invoved in these changes to ensure greater professionalism and opportunity within the industry.

In Victoria alone there are 900 registered and qualified coaches many of whom will be confronted with big decisions on their future, tenure, security, and management structure at their respective clubs or facilities. Our Directors have also been directly involved in negotiations to minimise the possible disastrous consequences of the drought and impact caused by water restrictions. We can give advice through recent experience in court management and construction to beat the drought.

All serious coaches will have already or must soon prepare to form an agreement with an employer, club, municipal council, or privately managed facility. Tie-Break has first hand experience in navigating and negotiating each and everyone of these. Tie-Break Consulting offers professional support, services, and advice in the multitude of areas listed below.

We specialise in helping you write a comprehensive business and management plan to run your current business more efficiently and effectively or to present at your next interview.

Meet the TieBreak Directors
Both of our Directors have recently completed the Tennis Australia Master Club Professional Course involving a Diploma of Management from Deakin and the preparation of a comprehensive Business and Management plan for our respective companies.

Our Tie-Break Enterprises directors have a combined 60 years full-time experience in the sports industry. Although both directors specialise in tennis, both are qualified Physical Education teachers with knowledge and experience in a wide range of sports. Elsternwick Park Directors also own and manage two of Melbourne’s largest Tennis Academies, Victorian Tennis Academy and Toptenn Tennis Academy.
